The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services. The platform has recommended to examine their items and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction. Sizing System Changes Before the change, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10. The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10. With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. User Stories A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated. Manual Updates A different user, from Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
